Judith
~Owner & founder~ 

Likes: Sunny days, climbing, canoeing, spontaneous campfires.

Dislikes: Being cold.

Background:

Judith has worked in the outdoor industry for over a decade, in the UK, France and UAE leading people of all ages in adventurous activities. She started as an apprentice in 2011 and worked her way up to centre manager gaining a variety of qualifications along the way. Judith had been managing residential and day camps for 3 years before founding Omega outdoor adventure in 2018, to bring her passion to her home town of Tamworth.

  • Level 2 paddlesport coach + SUP + Camp craft expedition + PIA Full Tutor + PSRC Full Tutor

Lesley
~Assistant manager~

Likes: Trying new things, power tools, paintbrushes.

Dislikes: Winter, sleeping in tents.

Background:

Otherwise known as Judith's mum, Lesley gets roped into all things Omega, you may have met her signing people in at our events, at our school holiday clubs managing Camp or leading our Paint n Sip events.

Proud Mum of two Lesley is a travel enthusiast, is a fantastic cook and of course can't resist anything arty. She has a varied work background with the main theme being creating and organising.

Qualifications:

  • Level 2 safeguarding

Millie
~Chief instructor~
~SENDCo~

Likes: Singing, travelling, abseiling.

Dislikes: Sweetcorn.

Background:

Millie has 9 years of experience as an outdoor instructor across the UK. She has experience creating activities, is a Girl guide leader and a teaching assistant for an SEN school. She can read and write braille as well as use Makaton sign.

Millie is an active fundraiser and has been on a variety of Guide trips to help other communities through her organised fund raising.

Marc
~Activity instructor~

Likes: Play boating, white water Kayaking, foraging, wildlife

Dislikes: Hot weather

Background:

Marc is passionate about everything Paddlesports, wild and outdoors. He has been a part of Tamworth Canoe club for many years, developing his personal paddling skills and coaching others on the water. He enjoys helping people achieve their goals, from complete beginners to rolling a kayak.

Whilst being a part of the team for all Omega activities Marc is also the lead instructor for our Learn to roll courses and one of our Kayak Club leads.

Jordan
~Activity instructor~

Likes: Hill walking, bush craft, camping, custard creams.

Dislikes: Mice 

Background:

Jordan is the founder of Crux Climbing Coaching, he has worked in the Outdoor industry for many years at day and residential Camps. He is a scout leader and passionate about everything coaching in the outdoors. Jordan loves developing peoples skills in a way that suits them best.

Whilst being a part of the team for all Omega activities Jordan is also the lead instructor for our Home Ed group.

James

Dislikes: Getting up early

Background:

James has a varied background working with groups, from being a Scout leader to a Rugby Tots coach. He lives the Adventure and can often be found out walking, Climbing or Paddling outside of work. He is currently at Uni studying BSc Wildlife ecology and conservation science.

Omega Dylan

Dylan
~Activity instructor~ 

Likes: Fixing things, Surfing, Paddle boarding, Climbing.

Dislikes: Spicey food.

Background:

Dylan has always been into everything outdoors, enjoying many surfing, walking and climbing trips from childhood. He began his journey to becoming an instructor in 2019, at college, where he studied outdoor education. After gaining a variety of qualifications and experience with a range of groups, Dylan joined the Omega team in 2021 and has proven to be fantastic member of the team!

  • Seamanship skills

  • Pool lifeguard

Faye
~Wilderness therapy lead~

Likes: Crusty bread, Miniature houses, Children's poetry.

Dislikes: January, Sunburn.

Background:

Faye swapped a corporate career for one in the forest when children came along, founding a preschool nature art class for her Son. Since then she has found a passion for the mental health benefits of being outdoors and continues to train in this field. She also has a keen interest in using creativity outdoors and enjoys teaching others the art of willow weaving.

  • Diploma 200hr Yoga Teacher Training

  • Diploma in Forest Bathing

  • Diploma in Meditation
