Please book your arrival time, you are welcome to stay for the whole afternoon. All craft must be off the water by 16:00.

​​What you need to for self launch

• Buoyancy aid - PFD's must be worn at all times on the water, these should be marked with CE 50kn or ISO 12402

• Boat or Board - Paddleboards, Kayaks, inflatable Kayaks & Canoes are welcome. Other inflatables are not allowed

• Inflatable craft must have more than one inflation valve and multiple chambers

• Paddleboarders must wear an ankle or quick release waist leash as well as a buoyancy aid

• You must be able to paddle 500m unaided 

• You must be able to self rescue back onto your craft from deep water

• You must hold 3rd party insurance, we recommend Paddle UK membership

• You must stay within the boundaries shared with you at sign in by a team member

• Children must be accompanied by an adult on the water. Adults can supervise up to 2 children aged 12-17 years or 1 child aged 8-11 years. Children can share appropriate craft with an adult as long as both are booked onto the session

• Safety cover will be available during sessions for emergency recovery only. There is no powerboat or lifeguard on site. Please assess your ability, equipment and weather conditions prior to launch and only launch within your capabilities

• All craft must be clean & dry prior to launch, you can find out more about stopping the spread of invasive species here​​​​​
